Fredericton, NB, May 28th 2015 - The Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals/Association Canadienne des Professionnels des Services Alimentaires (CAFP/ACPSA) announced Kendall Lee as the 2015 National Aramark Gold Plate award recipient at its annual conference held in Fredericton, New Brunswick in May.

Kendall Lee is pictured in the attachment (Right) receiving the National Aramark Gold Plate award from Angelo Colalillo, Director of Operations (Eastern Canada) with Complete Purchasing Services (a division of Aramark).
Kendall, a recent graduate from Saint Francis Xavier (StFX) University, was actively involved and led numerous activities with the St FX CAFP Student Branch where she served as President. She has been able to strengthen the student branch and increase participation by organizing innovative activities such as a local farm tour and a wine/appetizer pairing event at a local restaurant.
In addition to being actively involved in student branch activities, Kendall worked as St. FX Meal Exchange Coordinator in 2014, and last summer volunteered to be the Program Coordinator for Meal Exchange and represented Dietitians of Canada as a sponsor for the National Student Food Summit. She also gained valuable food industry service experience working at Oliver & Bonacini’s elegant Auberge du Pommier restaurant in Toronto. After graduation this May, Kendall will be entering a one-year, paid Aramark Dietetic internship program in Toronto.
