CAFP MEMBERS HONOURED BY CREDENTIALED FOOD EXECUTIVE PROGRAM

 
Toronto, Ontario June 29, 2014 -Ten members of the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals / Association canadienne des professionnels des services alimentaires (CAFP/ACPSA) were recently honoured by the Credentialed Food Executive Program. The presentations were made at the Nationa l CAFP conference held in Ottawa, Ontario in April.
 
Four were awarded the distinction of Credentialed Food Executive (CFE), two renewed their CFE distinction, two students earned the Student Executive Achievement Certificate, and two members reached the pinnacle of fifth level renewal Diamond status. Members received their designations during the CAFP Conference held
at the Delta Ottawa City Centre in Ottawa, ON from April 24-26th, 2014.
 
The CFE program criteria identify those professionals balanced in knowledge, experience and leadership capacity. Recipients exemplify the "leading edge" through self - motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and a commitment to managerial excellence. On behalf of the Canadian Tourism Human Resources Council, CAFP has credentialed the CFE program. It is the only nationally recognized program of its kind in Canada.
